The tuition, fees, and charges posted here are estimates based on currently approved amounts. These figures may not be final. Actual tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by the Regents of the University of California and could be affected by State funding reductions. Accordingly, final approved levels (and thus a student’s final balance due) may differ from the amounts shown.

The Professional Degree Supplemental Tuition (PDST) amounts shown here represent, for planning purposes, estimates of the 2014-15. Actual PDST rate for 2014-15 have yet to be determined by The Regents of University of California.  Final figures are subject to change and may differ from the amount shown.

Final approved 2014-15 fee levels of the UCD campus based fees has not yet been determined at this time and may be increased to reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and are subject to approval in Spring 2014 by the Oversight Committee (Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs). 

The amounts show on this page excludes health insurance in the totals. For health insurance amount, please select the desired fee schedule(s) below. The University of California Regents mandates that all students have health insurance. 

UC Davis automatically enrolls all registered students in the UC Davis Student Health Insurance Plan (Davis SHIP).  If students have comparable insurance and do not want to be enrolled in UC SHIP, they must apply for a Davis SHIP waiver by the date specified for their school. More information about the SHIP is available at http://shcs.ucdavis.edu/insurance.

For students in the School of Medicine M.D. program, UC Davis School of Medicine provides Western Health Advantage Insurance Plan to meet this requirement. If you have comparable insurance, you may waive out of the Western Health Advantage Plan.   For more information about student health insurance plans and rates, please visit the Registrar’s Office at http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/mdprogram/registrar/index.html.

Document Fee

The Document Fee is a $150 one-time fee charged to new Undergraduate, Graduate Academic, and Graduate Professional students that replaces individual transaction cost. Graduate students in the strictly professional degrees (M.D., J.D., D.V.M. and M.B.A.) are excluded and will continue with Pay-per-service charges.
