Outside Scholarships

This page provides information on the requirements for outside scholarship checks.

NOTE: Please see the separate Financial Aid unit information page for campus scholarships.

Outside scholarships must be received prior to the fee payment deadline to be credited to the student balance, or there is a possibility that courses could be dropped.

• Outside scholarships are disbursed along with financial aid each quarter.
• UC Davis Fee Payment Deadline dates: 
  • Sep 15th 
  • Dec 15th
  • Mar 15th
  • Jun 15th
  • Jul 15th
• Outside scholarships are not to be confused with Campus Scholarships which are awarded through Financial Aid.

Outside Scholarship check requirements:

• Checks must be payable to “UC Regents."
• Include student name and UC Davis student ID.
• Include what quarter funds are to be disbursed (i.e. Fall 2026 or prorate over 2026/27 academic year).
